A South Central Virginia native, Walt Currin has resided in North Carolina since the early 1980s. His professional background in engineering and architecture spans over forty years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1965 and returned there to complete a Master of Architecture degree in 1977.
His approach to design in this residential development is to honor the natural beauty, maximize the long-range mountain views, and to incorporate the basic elements of site-responsive design into a functional and restful space.
